I’ve just created a new collection of vibrant, playful hand-painted signs. Perfect for brightening up the home in a cheeky way. The signs went down a storm with local friends and relatives who saw them in the studio and happily put in orders for Christmas presents.
Curiosity and the Cat is proudly setting up at this unique, once-a-year Christmas Craft Fair to help raise money for Over The Moon Charity.
I have been very busy making lots of teacup candles and handpainted signs in preparation. A CATC vintage teacup candle will be in the charity raffle so you never know, you could win one!
If you’re in Farnham on Wednesday evening, pop in! Everyone’s welcome! It’s the perfect way to start Christmas shopping with a glass of bubbles! Hopefully see you there…
You can’t help but get attached to items you search for, find, ponder over and spend hours upstyling. Obviously anyone can buy them and do what they like with them. I did! But it’s the best feeling, knowing when they go to a good home.
That’s why I can’t thank Laura Bond enough for sharing these fabulous photos of her gorgeous Eva enjoying the 1920’s ‘Little Princess Chair’ she bought her at this Saturday’s Farnham Maltings Monthly Market.
Laura kindly said “Just wanted to let you know Eva LOVES her gorgeous princess chair! She sits in it to watch cartoons and have her snack, it’s so beautifully painted, what a lucky girl! I’ve already had lots of questions about where I got it from!”
I’m delighted to announce Curiosity and the Cat’s first market date, this Saturday! And it’s not just any market, it’s the Farnham Maltings Monthly Market.
One of the oldest and largest quality markets in Surrey and Hampshire, held on the first Saturday of every month, for over 40 years the market has drawn stall holders from all over the world. There are around 200 stalls to browse from crafts to collectables, from vintage finds to local food – an excellent way to spend a Saturday!”
So I’m very honored to be there this Saturday, 1st November. If you can make it, look for Curiosity and the Cat on the stage in the Great Hall 9.30am-4pm. The perfect place to start shopping for Christmas (sorry!).
